VETERANS PARADE

The Veterans Parade took place when the judging of all the dog classes was over, and before the judgement od the bitchs classes started. We had the honour to admire 15 dogs and bitches who paraded with their owners and handlers. I always move when I see older dogs in the ring, the white of their muzles and thir wet eyes tells us how much for many years they loved us, and are still ready to love us for as many years to come! I liked the fact that they were not competing, but all were winners, winners of love, and for this reason all had a special treat, a sausage, given them by a special person Mr Steph V. Potgeiter. The dogs had no number, but letters from A to O. And on the catalogue a nice few lines sketched out the very personality of each of them.
